How did Hawker miss the inauguration?
A friend just called my attention to the fact that the Hampden Community Council has a new president: Everette Noe. Anyone know him or her? Google turned up nothing.

He is the husband of former President Genny Dill.
Everett has worked very hard for the neighborhood for years and had just been recently elected Vice President. Allen Hicks gave Lyme disease and conflict of interest between running the HCC and the Mill Valley Umbrella as reasons for stepping down at the last general meeting. It also looks as if the Hampden Clean and Green movement may come back with fresh faces so attend the next meeting on 7/28 and see what happens. Spread the word!
Everett is a great guy. And frankly, anyone is better than Allen Hicks who did more to create disharmony on our neighborhood than actually help us move forward.
Ditto for the thought on Hicks. Every interaction I had with him was less than satisfactory. Hopefully we've seen the last of him. It's time for the HCC leadership to be more articulate and intelligent in their interactions with the community.
