Some Crafty and Delicious Weekend Possibilities

What to do, what to do this weekend:

1. The Exonerated, a powerful documentary-style play about folks exonerated from death row, plays Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Mobtown Players (located in Meadow Mill near the light rail stop.)

2. doubledutch will be hosting the first ever Baltimore Etsy Street Team Trunk Show this Sunday, July 13th from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Etsy is a website that features handmade items from crafters and artists around the world. Meet some of the local Etsy sellers, and shop for handmade jewelry, accessories, bags, soaps, and more! There will also be yummy eats and delicious drinks (anybody remember the awesome Sofia blanc de blanc in tiny red cans once served at a doubledutch event?) Plus, enter to win a $50 doubledutch gift certificate.

3. Extend the weekend by celebrating Bastille Day at Ma Petite Shoe! On Monday, July 14th, Ma Petite Shoe will host its annual Bastille Day party. The party will feature french delicacies by Puffs & Pastries (the eagerly awaited and soon-to-open-at-830 W. 36th Street pastry shop!) Plus, enjoy champagne and chocolate martinis, crepes by Sofi's Crepes, and, of course, chocolate! Preview some new fall shoe styles and tell Susannah that Hawker says hello!

EDIT: The Ma Petite Shoe event Monday is from 5-8 p.m.!
